February 26–28, 2027 · Saint Anne, Illinois
As winter begins to soften and the first promise of spring draws near, you are invited to pause, breathe, and begin again.
Spring Awakening is an intimate early-spring weekend retreat created to support peace, joy, and expansion. Join Meghan Leigh Yoga in Saint Anne, Illinois, for three nourishing days of yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound, rest, wholesome food, and genuine connection.
This retreat is a chance to step out of the routines and responsibilities that pull your attention outward and return to the wisdom, energy, and possibility within. Through intentional movement, stillness, sound, reflection, and community, you will create space to release what feels heavy, reconnect with what matters, and welcome the season ahead with clarity and openness.
Late February is a threshold: winter is not quite over, yet something new is already stirring beneath the surface. This weekend honors that in-between space. You do not need to arrive with a plan for reinvention or a perfect intention. Simply come as you are—ready to receive rest, explore, grow, and remember the fullness of who you are.
A Retreat for Peace, Joy & Expansion
This retreat is part of the Meghan Leigh Yoga approach to expanding consciousness: a practice of becoming more present, more connected, and more available for the life you want to create.
Expansion does not have to mean doing more, pushing harder, or changing yourself into someone else. It can begin with a single conscious breath. It can look like feeling at home in your body, allowing yourself to rest without apology, noticing what brings you joy, and making choices that align with your deepest values.
Throughout the weekend, you will be invited to explore practices that support:
• Peace through breath, meditation, sound, restorative movement, and meaningful rest
• Joy through embodied movement, playfulness, nourishment, laughter, and authentic connection
• Expansion through self-inquiry, curiosity, aligned intention, and a renewed relationship with your own inner knowing
Our time together will offer an opportunity to turn down the volume of the outside world and tune in to what is true for you now. You will leave with practical practices, fresh perspective, and a clearer sense of how you want to move through the next season.
The weekend includes four thoughtfully designed yoga practices, each offering a distinct doorway into presence, strength, rest, and renewal. Practices will take place in a warm, welcoming indoor space created for movement, stillness, sound, and reflection.
Yoga is accessible to a range of experience levels. Whether you are new to yoga, returning after time away, or have a consistent practice, you will receive options that meet you where you are. Expect encouraging instruction, alignment guidance, variations for different bodies and energy levels, and space to explore at your own pace.
Guided meditation and breathwork will be woven throughout the retreat to support calm, clarity, and a more spacious relationship with your thoughts and emotions. You will be invited to practice noticing rather than judging, breathing rather than rushing, and meeting each moment with curiosity.
Evening sound experiences will create an additional layer of deep rest. Through resonant instruments, intentional listening, and the permission to simply receive, sound meditation can help you settle into stillness and reconnect with your own inner landscape.
The schedule is designed to offer structure without overfilling your days. You will have meaningful practices, nourishing meals, and generous open space to rest, reflect, and connect.
Friday: Arrive & Soften
Arrive, settle into your space, and begin letting go of the week. Our opening practice will be slow, stretchy, and grounding, followed by a sound-bath meditation to support a gentle transition into retreat mode.
Saturday Morning: Energize & Awaken
Begin the day with an athletic, accessible yoga practice designed to build warmth, strength, confidence, and energy. This is an opportunity to move with intention, connect to your breath, and welcome the returning spark of early spring.
Saturday Evening: Restore & Receive
As the day winds down, gather for restorative yoga and an extended sound-bath experience. Supported postures, mindful breath, and immersive sound will invite deep rest, nervous-system nourishment, and the space to listen inwardly.
Sunday: Integrate & Begin Again
Close the weekend with a feel-good Vinyasa flow, meditation, and time to reflect on what you want to carry forward. Leave with a greater sense of ease, renewed energy, and a grounded intention for the season ahead.
Your retreat is not only about the time spent on the yoga mat. It is also about the slower moments: lingering over a meal, taking a nap without guilt, journaling in a quiet corner, sharing a meaningful conversation, or simply allowing yourself to do less.
Healthy vegetarian meals will be prepared for the weekend and enjoyed in community. Food will be an opportunity to nourish your body, feel cared for, and savor the simple pleasure of gathering around a shared table.
Between scheduled sessions, you will have time to:
• Rest, read, journal, or enjoy quiet reflection
• Connect with fellow guests at your own pace
• Explore optional self-inquiry and intention-setting practices
• Enjoy the comfort of the retreat setting
• Step outside for fresh air and a brief seasonal walk, weather permitting
• Practice doing nothing at all
The retreat will be intentionally limited to approximately 16 guests. This intimate setting creates room for a personal, comfortable, and welcoming experience while still offering the warmth and inspiration of community.
